Sharing your voice consistently

When you begin to listen to yourself, your Soul, and your inner voice, you may find it hard, at first, to share your thoughts, opinions, and preferences.

If you’ve been taught to always create harmony in your life and relationships, you may have learned to keep quiet about what you truly want or prefer.

It’s been a lifelong practice of mine to undo a lot of my people pleasing tendencies.

And to begin to honor my own preferences. I have the habit of deferring to others, to accommodate them, and their preferences.

But once I started intentionally listening to my own inner voice and making that internal connection, saying yes and no to things because easier.

Begin sharing your voice, however softly, as consistently as possible. Make it a part of your everyday routine.

You can start with something simple. When you are given a variety of choices, take the time to pause, and sense what do YOU prefer?

This is a muscle for you to begin to stretch and strengthen. You can do it as gently as your Human Self requires.

What do you have inside of you that is waiting to be expressed?
